Global Investigations Review has named White & Case partner Nicole Erb (Washington, DC) to its list of 25 "DC sanctions lawyers to have on speed dial," published November 1.

To identify Washington's most respected sanctions lawyers, Global Investigations Review spent several months surveying dozens of practitioners, asking them which individual lawyers they would trust to represent them in a hypothetical sanctions case. The magazine also reviewed publicly available information to find lawyers working on the most significant cases.

Erb co-leads White & Case’s international sanctions practice. She represents clients in civil and criminal government investigations, voluntary self-disclosures, internal audits and investigations, compliance, licensing and other regulatory matters, as well as complex transnational litigation matters. Her clients comprise foreign states and their state-owned entities, international organizations, international financial institutions and multinational corporations in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Africa and Asia. Erb routinely represents clients before the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Department of Justice, and the Department of State.
