White & Case ranked number 1 by deal value for global M&A in 2016, according to both Bloomberg and Mergermarket. White & Case advised on 319 announced deals in excess of US$665 billion, according to Mergermarket's M&A League Tables published January 10, 2016.

- US – White & Case ranked #2 by value for US M&A, for advising on 161 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$502 billion.
- Europe – White & Case ranked #2 by value for European M&A, for advising on 212 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$247 billion.
