The Federal Reserve has made some changes to the Basel III provisions, which will benefit small banks.

Now that they have dodged a bullet, smaller banks need to get ready for the next rounds of battle, said Ernie Patrikis, a partner at New York law firm White & Case who previously spent 30 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
