Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised CrowdStrike Holdings (NASDAQ: CRWD), a global cybersecurity leader with an advanced cloud-native platform for protecting endpoints, cloud workloads, identities and data, on its acquisition of Flow Security, the industry's first and only cloud data runtime security solution.

With this acquisition, the CrowdStrike Falcon platform is poised to become the industry's most comprehensive data security platform. Following the closing of the transaction, CrowdStrike plans to fully deliver native Flow Security data security posture management capabilities in Falcon Cloud Security as part of the Falcon XDR platform, enabling customers to consolidate cloud point solutions and protect the entire cloud estate. Through this, CrowdStrike will provide visibility into critical cloud data flows, insight into how data interacts with applications, and the ability to detect when sensitive data is at risk or unintentionally leaving an environment.

The acquisition is expected to close during CrowdStrike's fiscal first quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.

The White & Case team was led by M&A partner Tali Sealman, and included associates Gabrielle Hodgson, Josh Butler and Kal Leung (Silicon Valley and New York); Technology Transactions partner Arlene Arin Hahn, and associates Jarrah Al-Buainain (both in New York) and Yuhan Wang (Silicon Valley); International Trade partner Cristina Brayton-Lewis and counsel Jason Burgoyne (both in Washington, DC); Antitrust partner Rebecca Farrington (Washington, DC) and associate Cassandra Calderon (New York); Employment, Compensation & Benefits partner Henrik Patel and counsel Aaron Feuer (both in New York); Tax partner Sang Ji and associate Adriana Zahn (both in New York); and Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity partner F. Paul Pittman (Washington, DC).
