White & Case advises on issuance of US$8 billion SEC registered notes by Republic of Poland, the largest State Treasury bond issuance in US dollar market

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland, represented by the Minister of Finance, on the issuance of US$8 billion of notes registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under its shelf registration statement.

This is the largest State Treasury bond issuance in the US dollar market. As part of the transaction, three tranches of bonds were issued: US$1.5 billion 4.625% bonds due 2029; US$3 billion 5.125% bonds due 2034; and US$3.5 billion 5.500% bonds due 2054.

The joint book-running managers on the transaction were Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Santander.
