Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised TC Energy Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) on its recently announced plan to spin off its Liquids Pipelines business. TC Energy plans to separate into two independent, investment-grade, publicly-listed companies through the spinoff of TC Energy's Liquids Pipelines business. The transaction is anticipated to be completed on a tax-free basis in the second half of 2024.
