Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Technique Solaire, a French independent producer of renewable energies, and its founders on a €200 million capital increase raised from its historical financial shareholders Bpifrance and a pool of investors from the Crédit Agricole Group.

The three founders, via the holding company JLT Invest, will retain a large majority of the capital.

The fundraising will enable Technique Solaire to invest in accelerating its production of renewable energy, photovoltaic solar energy and biogas, developing energy storage and intelligent energy management, and pursuing its selective international expansion.

The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partner Xavier Petet and included partners Estelle Philippi and Jérémie Marthan and associates Valentin Morichon, Baptiste Ferraud and Claire Sardet.
