White & Case advises Valmet on its debut €200 million green notes issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Valmet Corporation on its debut issuance of €200 million 4.000% senior unsecured green notes due March 13, 2029.

The notes are issued under Valmet's newly established Green Finance Framework and will be listed on the list of sustainable bonds of Nasdaq Helsinki. Danske Bank and Nordea acted as joint lead managers for the issuance.

Headquartered in Finland, Valmet is a global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. It had net sales of approximately €5.5 billion in 2023 and has 19,000 employees globally.
