White & Case Announces New Global Management Team

Global law firm White & Case LLP announced today its new global management team, effective September 1, 2019. 

Hugh Verrier has been re-elected as Chairman for a fourth consecutive four-year term. A project finance lawyer, Verrier joined White & Case in 1983 and was elected Chairman for the first time in 2007.

Verrier has appointed the following partners to the Firm's executive leadership team: Don Baker (Capital Markets, São Paulo), Oliver Brettle (Employment, London) and Heather McDevitt (Commercial Litigation, New York) will serve as members of the Firm’s Executive Committee and Dave Koschik (Banking, New York) will serve as Vice Chair of the Firm.

"We have a lot to do to achieve our 2020 Strategy," Verrier said, "and we’re going to use that success as a springboard for what comes next."

In addition, eight partners have been elected to the Firm's Partnership Committee, chaired by Verrier. The Partnership Committee’s members are: Peter Carney (Antitrust, Washington, DC), Gareth Eagles (Banking, London), Nicole Erb (Antitrust, Washington, DC), Shamita Etienne-Cummings (Intellectual Property, Washington, DC), David Hille (Commercial Litigation, New York), Andrew McDougall (International Arbitration, Paris), Eliza McDougall (Banking, New York) and Vivian Tsoi (M&A, Shanghai).
