White & Case Advised the Underwriting Banks in the Sale of Lagardere's Stake in EADS

Global Law Firm White & Case LLP has advised the underwriting banks in the sale of Lagardère's stake in EADS.

On 9 April 2013, the Lagardère group announced the sale of its 7.4% stake EADS. The sale was done through a private placement with qualified investors, by means of an accelerated bookbuilding. The total value was approximately €2.3 billion. EADS participated in this placement for a total amount of approximately €500 million. Following the transaction, Lagardère no longer holds EADS shares.

The placement was managed by BofA Merrill Lynch and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, acting as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, and by Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank as Joint Bookrunner.

White & Case LLP's team was led by Paris partners Philippe Herbelin and Thomas Le Vert, assisted by associates Kevin Paviet-Salomon and Antonin Deslandes. US law aspects were covered by partner Colin Chang, assisted by counsel Anne-Marie Salan. English law aspects were covered by London partners Greg Stonefield and Stuart Willey, assisted by associate Dave Gossen.
