Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the founding management shareholders of the Top-Werk Group on the acquisition of the HESS Group.
The transaction will create the world's largest provider of machines and equipment for industrially manufactured concrete products and the merger is receiving corporate and financial advice from CGS, an international industrial investor with roots in Switzerland.
Top-Werk GmbH was formed by the merger of SR Schindler Maschinen Anlagentechnik, Regensburg, and Prinzing GmbH Anlagentechnik und Formbau, Blaubeuren, in February 2013. White & Case had already advised the original shareholders of both businesses, which provide high-quality machines and equipment for the concrete industry, on this transaction.
The HESS Group is a leading global provider of machines and equipment for the construction materials industry. HESS has a workforce of around 750 employees at ten production sites worldwide and an extensive international sales and service network.
The White & Case team in Frankfurt was led by partner Dr. Stefan Koch with support from associate Vanessa Vieser.
