Global law firm White & Case LLP is advising I.M.A. Industria Macchine Automatiche S.p.A. (IMA) on its proposed acquisition for approximately €65 million of an 80 percent stake in OYSTAR Group from leading independent German private equity group Odewald.
IMA designs and manufactures automatic processing and packaging machines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, tea, coffee and food industries. The group has more than 3,700 employees worldwide and is active in around 80 countries.
OYSTARmanufactures machines for packaging products with a particular focus on the food industry and dairy sector. Headquartered in Stutensee, Germany, it consists of operating units Benhil, Erca, Hassia and Gasti with worldwide facilities located in Germnay, France, Spain, the US, Mexico and India.
