Gero von Jhering is a senior associate in the Firm's Global Commercial Litigation Practice. He specialises in litigation and arbitration regarding all areas of business and commercial law, with a focus on multijurisdictional litigation, contract law, insolvency law, competition law and corporate law.
Furthermore, Gero von Jhering has gained significant experience in complex negotiations and focuses on a functional and economical approach to find reliable outcomes in the client's interest.
Before joining White & Case Gero von Jhering worked as a research assistant and assistant lecturer at the Seminar for Civil Procedural Law. He wrote his doctoral thesis (Dr iur) as a scholar of the postgraduate program of the Universities of Hamburg, Valencia, Cambridge, Wroclaw as well as the Bucerius Law School (Hamburg) and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law. Gero von Jhering also lectures at the University of Hamburg at the master-program "European Economic Law".
