Helene Laval helps support the Firm's Global Tax Practice Group in managing their know-how and the global tax knowledge bank, as well as developing standard processes to improve communication and sharing of legal knowledge. In addition, Ms. Laval's role includes spearheading various global business initiatives to support the group leader and the tax group. She is also supporting the Global Legal Opinions Policy Committee and several global knowledge department projects. Ms. Laval formerly was a practicing tax associate at White & Case in New York, focusing on a variety of US and international corporate tax matters, including commercial cross-border lending transactions, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, funds, financial products, tax-exempt entities and ISDA agreements.
