Overview

Isabella Conceicao Silva is an associate in White & Case's Global Commercial Litigation Practice and a member of the London Technology Disputes team, based in London. She has a broad practice in complex cross-border commercial litigation and international arbitration. She also advises clients on contentious competition matters and has experience of damages actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Isabella has worked with clients from a variety of sectors, including technology, financial services and energy.

Isabella joined White & Case as a trainee, gaining experience in the Firm's Litigation, IP, Construction Arbitration and Project Finance Groups in London.

Isabella is also actively involved with pro bono work, including taking part in the Qmentoring scheme, attending the Royal Courts of Justice Citizens Advice Bureau and providing commercial advice to the Zoological Society of London.

A global mining company in one of the largest group actions ever brought in the English courts relating to damage caused by the collapse of a dam in Brazil.

A leading high voltage cables manufacturer in its defence of a proposed opt-out class action before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Meta (formerly Facebook) as a member of the team that handles all international litigation for Meta, including matters implicating international data protection, privacy, defamation, hosting provider liability, intellectual property and censorship laws.

Three European export credit agencies in a dispute against a Southeast Asian Airline before the English Court in the context of a foreign restructuring.

A Middle East government on disputes relating to the construction of new international airports and regional airports in the country, under various forms of FIDIC contract.
