Biography

Overview

Nick Salmon is the EMEA Chief Operating Officer of White & Case and oversees the operations of the Firm's offices in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He is responsible for ensuring that the EMEA offices and practices are working on an integrated basis with the Firm's global network. Mr. Salmon provides leadership to administrative and support staff across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and coordinates their activities to ensure the strategy and operational plans for the office and local practices are successfully implemented. He is also responsible for ensuring that all appropriate infrastructure and processes to support the effective running of the EMEA region are in place.

Mr. Salmon is a senior professional services firm director and general manager with experience spanning both strategic practice planning and implementation and support services management. Prior to joining White & Case as Chief Operating Officer of Asia, he was the Asia Chief Operating Officer for Linklaters. During his 11 years at Linklaters, Mr. Salmon earned several promotions, including election in 2004 to associate director (partner status) as part of that firm's overall partner election process. He also held positions at Cater Allen Group and Lloyd's of London.
