Overview
Sami E. Al-Louzi is a partner based in our Dubai office. Sami has over 25 years' of experience advising global and regional clients in the financial services, securities, infrastructure, healthcare and telecommunications sectors on equity capital markets transactions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Middle East, as well as on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and privatizations.
Experience
Representative transactions include advising:
Lulu Retail Holdings PLC on its pre-IPO reorganisation and successful intention to float on the ADX via a sale of 25% of its issued shares by its sole shareholder, Lulu International Holdings Limited.
Saudi Aramco in connection with the secondary public offering by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of US$11.2 billion (excluding the overallotment option) of ordinary shares of Saudi Aramco. The offering was the largest secondary offering in EMEA since 2000 and the largest ECM offering in the Middle East, after Saudi Aramco's IPO in 2019.
Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Company (Fakeeh Care Group), an integrated healthcare services provider in Saudi Arabia, on its listing on the Main Market of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).
