Overview

Saul Daniel is Co-Head of the Asia-Pacific Energy Group of White & Case. His practice involves the representation of clients in a wide range of complex transactions across the energy industry including project development, joint ventures and project finance.

He has extensive experience in the upstream, downstream and LNG sectors in particular. Saul has worked on major energy transactions throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Saul has worked in the Houston, London and Abu Dhabi offices of White & Case.

Saudi Aramco in connection with its US$3.6 billion acquisition from Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. of an approximately 10% interest in Shenzhen-listed Rongsheng Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (Rongsheng).

Saudi Aramco on the development and financing of a US$12.1 billion greenfield refinery and petrochemicals complex in Panjin City, Liaoning Province in northeast China.

An international trader on proposed offtake arrangements with a refinery and petrochemical complex in India.

The sponsor in connection with its proposed development and financing of a gas-to-chemical complex, based on methanol-to-olefins (MTO) technology, in Uzbekistan.

A US developer on the proposed development and financing of an LNG-to-Power Project in Indonesia.

An confidential investor in connection with its potential investment in an LNG-to-Power project in Vietnam.
