Overview

Verena is counsel in White & Case LLP's Doha office specializing in international construction and commercial arbitration.

She represents clients in construction arbitration proceedings, and has particular knowledge and experience of construction projects in the Middle East under Middle Eastern laws. Her experience includes power stations, large scale infrastructure projects, transport, and mixed-used developments.

Verena also represents clients in general commercial arbitrations, such as post-M&A, commodity, joint venture, and energy disputes. Verena is also acting as sole arbitrator in an ICC commercial arbitration.

Verena joined the dispute resolution practice group of our Frankfurt office in 2009. Since 2012, she has been a member of the international arbitration team in our Paris office, before she moved to White & Case's Doha office in 2016.
