Hamburg: As part of the Hamburg office Friday series, Jan-Peter Kecker, Stefan Feuerriegel and Matthias Stupp discussed "Portfolio Sales of Real Estate."
They presented an overview of the real estate market and its development, and discussed the different stages of a portfolio transaction using examples from current practice, with a focus on the organization, documentation and legal structure of a portfolio sale.
They also spoke about the due diligence examination (sell-side/buy-side), as well as acquisition financing and the provision of security thereof on the part of the purchaser.
