Frankfurt,
October 12, 2011 ... Global law firm White & Case LLP continues to expand its German M&A practice and admits Dr. Stefan Koch (40) to its international partnership. Dr. Stefan Koch will be based in the Frankfurt office. He started his career in 2001 at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York and had been working in the law firm's Frankfurt office since 2003, recently as European Counsel.
Dr. Stefan Koch studied in Hamburg and at the New York University School of Law (LL.M.). He is admitted as attorney-at-law in Germany and New York. Dr. Stefan Koch mainly advises private equity investors and multinational corporations (listed and unlisted) on cross-border M&A transactions.
Within 12 months this has been already the fifth new hire on partner and local partner level for the German M&A practice of White & Case. Markus Hauptmann, Regional Section Head of White & Case in Germany and M&A partner, comments: "Due to his German and US law expertise and long-time experience with private equity and corporate M&A transactions, Dr. Stefan Koch is a perfect match for our team. With this step we continue to expand our M&A and private equity practice through internal partner nominations and qualified lateral hires in order to promote the change of generations."
