White & Case advises Doughty Hanson on £60 million Shopping Centre Acquisition

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate on its £60 million acquisition of Old George Mall in Salisbury from the Salisbury Partnership, which is a joint venture between clients of PRUPIM and Rockspring.

White & Case has acted on all four UK acquisitions for the second Doughty Hanson & Co European Real Estate fund, for which this is the eleventh investment. Old George Mall is a 137,000 sq ft shopping centre, comprised of 57 retail units occupied by major national retailers including Bhs, WH Smith, Mothercare and New Look, as well as a 565-space multi-storey car park.
