New Lateral Partner Boosts White & Case's M&A and India Practices

April 2, 2008 ... Global law firm White & Case LLP announced that William Kirschner has been elected to the partnership as a lateral hire in Washington, DC. Joining the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions and India Practices, Kirschner will be based in Washington before transitioning to White & Case's Singapore office.
Kirschner specializes in cross-border private equity and corporate finance transactions involving emerging markets in Asia, with a focus on India. He advises investment and commercial banks, private equity and hedge funds and strategic corporate clients on a variety of cross-border transactional and related corporate matters.
"India's private equity market has increased dramatically in recent years with investors drawn to the country's high growth rates and hot stock markets," said Tim Goodell, White & Case partner and co-head of its M&A Practice in New York.
