New Partner Joins White & Case's Securities Group

New York, October 3, 2007 ... Global law firm White & Case LLP today announced the arrival of new partner N. Adele Hogan in the Capital Markets/Securities Practice of its New York office. Hogan is a prominent practitioner in the securities industry having worked on over 125 securities offerings with aggregate proceeds of over $200 billion in the last 12 years.

Hogan has represented underwriters and issuers in a wide array of industries on offerings of diverse types of securities, including investment grade debt, IPOs, 144A offerings, trust preferred securities and medium-term notes. In addition, Hogan's practice involves mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate work. 

"Adele's extensive background in securities work will be a great asset to our New York practice, and especially to our clients who constantly face new issues and regulations in their respective industries," said partner John M. Donovan, co-chair of the Capital Markets/Securities Practice of White & Case in New York.

In addition, Hogan is currently the Chairman of the Securities Regulation Committee of the New York City Bar, is the former Chairman of the Financial Reporting Committee of the New York City Bar, is on the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section of the New York State Bar and is a member of the Federal Securities Law Committee of the American Bar Association. She is a frequent speaker on securities regulation issues at programs sponsored by Practicing Law Institute, Bloomberg and the New York City Bar Center for CLE. She has also served as an Adjunct Law Professor at Fordham Law School.

In 2006, Hogan was ranked as a "leading individual" in the field of capital markets in Chambers USA.  In the most recent third quarter 2007 Bloomberg legal advisor league table rankings, White & Case ranked, by deal count, third in global equity IPO issuer advisors and fifth in US high yield manager advisors, and fifth in global bonds issuers advisors by volume. The Capital Markets/Securities Practice has also been recognized by legal publications worldwide including Chambers USA, IFLR 1000, Legal 500 UK and PLC Which Lawyer.
