Mr. Richard is a bank finance lawyer with particular expertise in leveraged acquisition finance, structured finance, corporate finance, syndicated lending and real estate financing. Mr. Richard also has significant experience in restructurings.

Mr. Richard represents a range of bank and other financial institutions in domestic and cross-border transactions. Recently, he advised BNP Paribas, Banc of America Securities Limited, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and The Royal Bank of Scotland in connection with the senior and second lien secured debt granted for the recapitalization of the European satellite operator Eutelsat S.A.

Mr. Richard also represents corporate borrowers and investment funds in a wide range of financing transactions. Such clients include Apax, Carlyle, Eurazeo and Wendel Investissement.
