Practice Experience
Sven-Holger Undritz concentrates in insolvency law. He has acted as insolvency administrator appointed by the Local Court of Hamburg since 1998, the Local Court of Norderstedt since 2000, and by the Local Court of Flensburg since 2006.

Within the framework of his activity as administrator, Mr. Undritz has already assisted 250 companies during insolvency, including inter alia PopNet Internet AG, a company listed on "Neuer Markt", the ship accessory supplier Triton Format GmbH and Heinrich Klingenberg AG which enjoys a long tradition. Most recently, he was the leading insolvency administrator in Germany's largest insolvency case in 2007 involving Europe’s largest international furniture company, the Schieder-Group. Mr. Undritz succeeded in reorganizing many companies during insolvency proceedings and transferring them to a new legal entity.

He has acquired substantial know-how in the area of corporate reorganization law, which is particularly due to his significant experience as insolvency administrator. He advises clients in the preliminary stages of insolvency and also acts for German and multinational companies in connection with the acquisition of companies out of insolvency.

Furthermore, Mr. Undritz has assisted in various Chapter 11 proceedings as well as in many German insolvency plan proceedings, which are similar to those provided by the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He gives lectures on insolvency law both at conferences and for clients at regular intervals.
