Practice Experience
Stefan Odeurs advises on corporate and financial law, particularly on mergers and acquisitions and private equity (including buyouts). He represents institutional investors (in both investment and funding transactions) and private and publicly traded companies in both national and cross-border transactions.
Mr. Odeurs also has extensive experience in finance and corporate finance. He has advised on numerous loan and credit transactions, as well as a wide variety of private and public placements of financial instruments such as shares, profit sharing certificates, warrants and (convertible) bonds. With respect to public offerings, Mr. Odeurs has assisted in the process of drafting the prospectus and completing the related stock exchange listing. In these transactions, he has represented issuers as well as financial institutions, acting as arranger, lead manager or subscriber.
The current edition of PLC Which Lawyer? ranks Mr. Odeurs as "highly recommended" for both Private Equity/Venture Capital and Corporate M&A work. Legal 500 EMEA 2010 also ranks Stefan Odeurs in relation to Corporate and M&A matters: "Continues to impress with the 'depth of his knowledge and his excellent legal and analytical skills'". Mr. Odeurs is also highly rated in Chambers & Partners Global Edition 2011 where he is "widely praised by clients, who value his years of experience as well as 'his dynamic approach and great commercial acumen.'".
