Practice Experience

Stefan Odeurs advises on corporate and financial law, particularly on mergers and acquisitions and private equity (including buyouts). He represents institutional investors (in both investment and funding transactions) and private and publicly traded companies in both national and cross-border transactions.

Mr. Odeurs also has extensive experience in finance and corporate finance. He has advised on numerous loan and credit transactions, as well as a wide variety of private and public placements of financial instruments such as shares, profit sharing certificates, warrants and (convertible) bonds. With respect to public offerings, Mr. Odeurs has assisted in the process of drafting the prospectus and completing the related stock exchange listing. In these transactions, he has represented issuers as well as financial institutions, acting as arranger, lead manager or subscriber.

The 2007 edition of PLC Which Lawyer? ranked Mr. Odeurs as "highly recommended" for private equity/venture capital work. Chambers Global 2008 also ranks Stefan Odeurs in relation to corporate and M&A matters with clients commenting that he "always focuses on the right details".
