Practice Experience
Oscar Liljeson's practice is Bank Finance. His focus is on leveraged finance and financial restructurings although he has experience in a wide range of finance transactions, including asset finance and investment grade lending.
Oscar has participated in numerous top tier acquisition finance transactions and cross boarder financings and financial restructurings over the last five years, representing Swedish and international banks and private equity clients. His recent experience at White & Case includes finance transactions for Nordea Bank, HSH Nordbank, Kaupthing, Bayerische Landesbank, Commerzbank, Goldman Sachs, CIBC, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Alipes, Polaris Private Equity, Accent Equity Partners, Allianz Capital Partners, Cinven, Altor Equity Partners and Nordic Capital.
Oscar joined the Firm in 2006.
Representative transactions include:
- Acting for Altor Equity Partners in connection with the financing of the acquisition of over 200 pharmacies from the state-owned company Apoteket AB (publ).
- Acting for the investment company Alipes in connection with the financing of the acquisition of the Synsam group.
- Acting for Nordic Capital in connection with the financing of the acquisition of SafeRoad, CPS Color, Aditro and Menigo.
- Acting for Accent Equity Partners in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Candyking, Bergteamet, Troax and Hööks Hästsport.
- Acting for Polaris Private Equity in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Frösunda and Pysslingen.
- Acted for Nordea Bank and Goldman Sachs in connection with the SEK 10.6 billion leverage finance facilities in relation to Com Hem.
- Acted for the lenders in various financial restructurings, security enforcements, bankruptcy proceedings and company reconstructions.
- Acted for the investors in connection with various financial restructurings.
