Mr. Airisto advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and equity investments, often involving multiple jurisdictions. This work includes private transactions in addition to public tender offers and mergers. He also represents Finnish and international companies in their various corporate law issues in Finland.

Mr. Airisto has expertise in international banking transactions, including acquisition finance and complex security issues, representing international banks and corporations.  He also represents underwriters and Finnish issuers and selling shareholders in international capital markets transactions, including Rule 144A offerings, initial public offerings, and private placements. He frequently advises international investment banks on various Finnish securities regulation issues.

Mr. Airisto has particular expertise in the field of cross-border real estate transactions, including leveraged financings of complex real estate acquisitions.  He has advised leading investors and financial institutions in large real estate transactions in Finland.

Recent representations include acting for clients in the biotechnology, engineering, financial services, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, real estate development, software and telecommunication industries.
