Practice Experience
Tal Marnin is an attorney in the Firm's Executive Compensation, Benefits and Employment Law (ECBEL) practice. Mr. Marnin concentrates on counseling clients on issues of discrimination and sexual harassment, workplace investigations and compliance with federal, state and local employment laws (including issues related to wage and hour and family and medical leave). Mr. Marnin has particular expertise in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and significant restructurings and downsizings (including plant closings and the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act) and in drafting and negotiating employment and retention agreements, consulting agreements and separation agreements and general releases.
Mr. Marnin provides training seminars on preventing harassment and discrimination and related employment topics for senior management, executives, human resources professionals, in-house legal counsel and employees. Mr. Marnin also defends employers against compensation, discrimination and termination claims in state and federal courts, federal, state and local fair employment agencies and in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
