Alexander Reuter practices in the areas of financing, corporate and group law as well as corporate transactions (corporate acquisitions and disposals, including private equity and PPP transactions).

He specializes in structured finance transactions (in particular project, object and corporate finance) as well as restructuring and reorganization, including distressed investments and distressed M&A transactions. Furthermore, Alexander Reuter has extensive experience in balance sheet issues and contract development for all types of industrial processes. He has also been involved in arbitration proceedings both as a legal counsel and as an arbitrator.

Prior to practicing as a lawyer, Alexander Reuter worked as a corporate counsel for the Thyssen Goup for eleven years, first for Thyssen AG and subsequently with Thyssen Stahl AG/Thyssen Krupp Stahl AG, where he became general counsel in 1995.
