Practice Experience
Anna Werner focuses on banking law, as well as corporate and civil law issues. In particular, she specializes in regulatory issues such as the establishment of banks, transformations of banks into branches of credit institutions, mergers and acquisitions of banks and setting up banking operations in Poland.

Anna Werner has significant experience in banking outsourcing issues, drafting outsourcing agreements and other required documentation as well as in advising banks in connection with applications for permits from the Financial Supervision Authority to enter into outsourcing agreements.

She has participated in a number of domestic and cross-border loan transactions, including project finance and acquisition finance transactions, drafting loan and security documentation. She has represented both banks and borrowers and has been involved in a number of large investments in the real estate market.

In addition, Anna Werner has advised a renowned Polish bank on standard security documentation.

Before joining White & Case, Ms. Werner worked at a Polish law firm in Warsaw and participated in several internships in both Polish and international law firms.

She graduated summa cum laude from the Warsaw University School of Law. She also earned a master's in comparative law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law (LL.M. in Comparative Law). Anna Werner also graduated with honors from the Center for American Law Studies in Warsaw.
