Mr. Hansen has engaged in a variety of corporate, banking, privatization and financing transactions.  In particular, he has been active in international joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and equipment leasing and other aviation related matters. During his tenure in the Mexico City Office from 1993 - 1997, Mr. Hansen participated in a wide variety of financing transactions on behalf of Mexican issuers, commercial banks and invest­ment banks.  Those transactions included debt and equity securities offerings using traditional private placements, Euro-offerings, combined Regulation S/Rule 144A offerings and registered U.S. public offerings.  Mr. Hansen also participated actively in the aircraft and engine leasing transactions of the Mexico City office as well as complex asset-backed financings for several clients, including AeroMéxico and members of the Cintra Group.  In 1997, Mr. Hansen transferred to the Miami office of White & Case, where he continued to work closely with the Mexico City office.

Mr. Hansen returned to White & Case in the Miami office in November 2000 after spending three years as in-house counsel of a client of the firm.  Since his return, Mr. Hansen has continued to work very closely with clients of White & Case’s Mexico City office on a variety of matters, including aircraft finance, infrastructure and privatiza­tion, toll road concession, real estate finance and joint venture projects.  He is a member of the firm’s Equipment Finance and Leasing Group.
