Practice Experience
Mr. Hansen has engaged in a variety of corporate, banking, privatization and financing transactions. In particular, he has been active in international joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and equipment leasing and other aviation related matters. Mr. Hansen was the first associate to relocate to White & Case's Mexico City Office (from New York), and he remained in Mexico City from 1992 until 1997.
During his career with White & Case, Mr. Hansen has worked in the New York, Miami and Mexico City offices, and has maintained very close contact and working relationships with the partners and associates in each such office, with a particular emphasis on Mexico-based transactions. He has participated in a wide variety of financing transactions on behalf of Mexican issuers, borrowers, commercial banks and investment banks. Those transactions included debt and equity securities offerings using traditional private placements, Euro-offerings, combined Regulation S/Rule 144A offerings and registered US public offerings. In recent years, Mr. Hansen's practice has focused mainly on mergers and acquisitions, secured lending and equipment finance transactions. He has represented buyers, sellers, lenders, lessors and lessees in a wide variety of such deals. In particular, Mr. Hansen has participated actively in aircraft and spare engine financing transactions as well as complex asset-backed financings for several clients of the firm, among them state-owned export credit agencies, airlines, aircraft lessors, banks and other financial institutions.
