Chris is an associate in the Firm's Banking and Capital Markets Group. He has advised on a wide range of debt and equity capital markets transactions in the emerging markets, acting for underwriters and issuers.

Prior to joining White & Case, Chris was an associate at a leading Canadian law firm, where his practice was focused on corporate and securities transactions in the forestry and mining industries.

Acting for Guaranty Trust Bank plc, a Nigerian bank, in the update of its US$2 billion guaranteed global medium term note programme and US$500 million note issue
Acting for Nordea Bank AB in the establishment of its US$15 billion US medium term note programme and issues of notes under the programme
Acting for the Republic of Lithuania in issues of notes amounting to US$3.5 billion, in aggregate
Acting for managers on issues of notes by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan
Acting for Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi A.S., a Turkish bank, in a US$750 million issue of loan participation notes
Acting for managers in issues of Slovak-law governed notes by the Slovak Republic
Acting for TNK-BP International Limited, an integrated oil and gas company in Russia, on issues of notes under its US$8 billion guaranteed debt issuance programme
Acting for the Republic of Albania in its debut €300 million note issue
