Practice Experience

Christian Jacobs advises national and international entrepreneurs and enterprises on Mergers & Acquisitions, structuring of companies with regard to corporate and tax law issues, and generational transitions. Mr. Jacobs has also gained experience in the structuring of assets as well as setting up administration structures like family offices.

Prior to joining White & Case at the beginning of 2002, Mr. Jacobs was a partner of a M & A law boutique in Hamburg. Before joining that company, he worked for another international law firm in Bremen. At both firms, he was also active in the field of German and European antitrust law as well as general European law.

Mr. Jacobs was a trainee at the European Commission – General Directorate for Competition – in 1988 and at an international strategy consulting firm in Tokyo in 1990-1991.
