Practice Experience
Deema Ghosheh joined the Abu Dhabi office of White & Case in February 2008. Prior to joining White & Case, she spent seven years with a leading local law firm in Abu Dhabi where she closely worked with a prominent litigator in Abu Dhabi and obtained considerable knowledge and experience on the federal and local laws, rules and regulation of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the U.A.E. Ms. Ghosheh has extensive experience in advising national and multinational companies on the laws of the U.A.E. and her clients include utilities and well known companies in the fields of construction, aviation, securities and insurance.
Ms. Ghosheh is in the Corporate practice group and advises clients on the necessary regulatory compliance regarding doing business in the UAE.
Recent transactions in which Ms. Ghosheh has been involved include:
Advising a multinational telecommunications operator on regulatory legislation concerning offering varied services in the UAE.
Advising the municipality of a major city in the GCC on entering into services agreements.
Advising a leading insurance company on the regulations regarding establishing a presence in the UAE and addressing its concerns.
Advising the sponsors in connection with the development and construction of a five-star hotel, including the financing of such project.
Advising a prominent UAE company on a joint venture with an international counterpart targeted to achieve financial close in December 2007.
