Practice Experience
Daša Vukelic joined the Budapest office of White & Case in 2007 as a member of our M&A and Private Equity practice groups.
Daša's practice focuses on cross-border M&A and private equity matters. She also has considerable experience in corporate and banking matters, including secured lending transactions and complex commercial contracts.
Since joining White & Case, Daša has been a member of our team advising:
- The largest single investor in Central and Eastern Europe and a private equity co-investor in their €20 million co-investment in the newly-formed Hungarian technology company, a global point of sale processor of electronic prepaid products and services and a provider of enhanced mobile services for global communications and commerce;
- A leading European health care company, and its management shareholders in the auction sale of the company to a private equity consortium, for €800 million;
- A leading independent private equity investment firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe in relation to the implementation of a management incentive plan for one of its Czech-based portfolio companies;
- The largest private health care services company in Central and Eastern Europe in relation to its acquisitions of various medical diagnostics and dialysis centers in Europe;
- A private equity player in Central and Eastern Europe in connection with its €0.45 billion acquisition of a Baltic's mobile operator; and
- A leading CEE private equity fund in connection with its €45 million growth equity investment, in exchange for an initial 32.11% and up to a 41.5% stake in a leading Romanian cable television and direct-to-home company.
Prior to joining White & Case, Daša worked as a Solicitor at a prestigious mid-size law firm in New Zealand as a member of the corporate and banking teams.
