Duane Wall served as the head of White & Case LLP from 2000-2007 directing the Firm's operations and practices around the world. 

Mr. Wall's legal practice involves advising U.S. and non-U.S. banks and other financial institutions on the nature and structure of their operations and activities in the United States and abroad. 

He has represented banks and other financial institutions in a broad range of matters, including:  bank mergers, acquisitions and other expansion activities; securities issuances by banks and other financial institutions and their other funding operations; the establishment by U.S. and non- U.S. banks of their chosen forms of organization; advising financial institutions as to the activities in which they may engage, including the authority of banking organizations to engage in underwriting, merchant banking and insurance activities in the United States; the development of risk management procedures, internal controls and compliance programs; and helping banks establish and maintain strong relationship with their principal regulators.

Most currently, Mr. Wall has been advising banks and other financial institutions in respect of the challenges they face arising from the worldwide financial crisis, including the provisions and ramifications of the U. S. Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and other related laws and regulations.

Mr. Wall has also had experience in bank lending and credit transactions, project financing and international securities offerings.  He was resident in the Firm's London office 1972-76 and 1980-81.
