Mr. Flores' practice includes corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and bank finance.  He has participated in the offerings of certificados bursátiles of the Government of the Federal District, HSBC (issuance of residential mortgage backed securities), Banorte (securitization of UMS securities and securitization of loans granted to states and municipalities) CFE and Pemex. Mr. Flores advised Banamex in the securitization of a US$2.8 billion loan granted to the Mexican Institute for Protection of Bank Savings (IPAB) and the securitization of UMS securities, and also participated in the first issuance of insurance linked securities (cat-bonds) by a Latin-American country, made by the Fund for Natural Disasters of Mexico (Fondo de Desastres Naturales – FONDEN). Mr. Flores has also advised underwriters and issuers in security offerings in the Mexican and foreign markets.

Mr. Flores was a member of the group of attorneys that represented The Coca-Cola Company and Coca-Cola FEMSA in the public tender offer for the acquisition of Jugos del Valle. Likewise, Mr. Flores advised a shareholder of Nadro on the sale of its 30 percent interest of such company though a public tender offer.

Before joining White & Case, Eduardo Flores worked for a prestigious law firm in Guadalajara, where he focused mainly on corporate and migratory matters.
