Practice Experience
Elizabeth Palmer is an associate in the Firm's London office. Elizabeth has a range of experience in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, partnerships, corporate finance and equity capital markets, representing public and private organisations and banks.
Before joining White & Case in April 2007, Elizabeth trained at a UK law firm in London and was subsequently an associate in its corporate department for almost two years.
Examples of recent representations include:
- Advised Castle Harlan, CHAMP Private Equity and United Malt Holdings on the sale of United Malt Holdings Ltd, a global malt manufacturer, to Graincorp Ltd for a AUS$655 million;
- Represented HSBC Principal Investments and LGI Ventures B.V. on their purchase of notes and warrants issued by 03b Networks Limited;
- Advising Kaupthing Bank, as financial advisors to ENIC, in its public offer to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club PLC;
- Advising Kaupthing Bank, as financial advisers to Inspicio PLC, in the acquisition of Inspicio PLC by Angus Newco;
- Acting for a textiles company on its proposed admission to trading on the main market of London Stock Exchange plc;
- Acting for BMO Nesbitt Burns as placing agent on the US$35 million placing of new shares of Titanium Resources Group Ltd;
- Acting for Canaccord Adams, as sponsor to Sunkar Resources Plc, a Kazakh phosphates company, on the initial public offering of Sunkar Resources Plc on AIM;
- Acting for eWave World Ltd, an emerging markets telecommunications company, and WiMax company, on the subscription by Reliance Infocom B.V., a subsidiary of Reliance Communications, for 90 percent of the share capital of eWave World Ltd;
- Acting for HSBC Principal Investments on its equity investment in 03b Networks Limited, an emerging markets satellite and telecommunications company;
- Acting for Legacy Finance Limited in its capacity as placing agent in respect of a US$500 million Vietnamese investment fund; and
- Acting for Legacy Finance Limited in its capacity as placing agent in respect of a US$2 billion Indian investment fund.
