Florian Brügel's principal area of practice is national and international corporate law. He advises primarily stock corporations and groups of companies, but also partnerships, on all corporate law issues in connection with highly complex transactions, restructurings and investment projects.

He focuses on assisting clients in planning and implementing national and cross-border structural measures, such as mergers and demergers, capital increases, transfer of legal seat and change of legal form (on particular into an SE), primarily in connection with a change of the underlying participation structure. In addition to advising on transactions and preparing formal decision-making processes, this includes the enforcement of claims in court and the defense against claims.

Florian Brügel is co-responsible for the task force "Corporate Mobility" providing assistance in optimizing and facilitating complex group structures and internal financial relationships within groups by using cross-border tools and legal forms.

Florian Brügel also advises management board members, supervisory board members and members of other boards on all issues of personal liability and corporate compliance. Florian Brügel has extensive experience in German-Italian and Chinese direct investments, with and without public aid (guarantees, recovery package II). Florian Brügel is an assistant lecturer a the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and co-author of a commentary on the German law of reorganizations.
