Practice Experience
Grzegorz Rabsztyn advises clients from the banking and financial sector, focusing primarily on banking and civil law, insolvency and capital markets.

He was involved in a number of project finance, acquisition and asset finance projects of first class international financial institutions.

Mr. Rabsztyn was one of the key members of the team which advised China Development Bank in connection with a €640 million credit facility for the development of the Play mobile phone network.

In connection with securitization projects, as well as projects concerning the acquisition and servicing of non performing loan portfolios, Mr. Rabsztyn advised a US financial institution with respect to transactions of acquisition of portfolios of non-performing loans, which are the largest transactions of that type on the Polish market.

With respect to banking law regulatory issues, he participated in the launching of new corporate banking products through his involvement in drafting banking documentation. He was also involved in due diligence processes of large financial institutions, including processes in connection with the takeover of a network of outlets of one of the largest Polish banks.

Mr. Rabsztyn also has developed his practice with respect to bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, including cross-border insolvency.

Before joining the White & Case team, Mr. Rabsztyn was an intern at a number of Polish and international law offices. He is a graduate of the Law and Administration Department of the Warsaw University. He received a bachelors degree at the faculty of International Relations at Warsaw School of Economics. Under a Socrates-Erasmus scholarship, he was also a student of the Law Department at the Aarhus University in Denmark.

He is fluent in English and can also communicate in German.
