Practice Experience
Mr. Kass is a commercial litigation associate with experience in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, as well as white collar and internal investigations. He has assisted in various securities fraud and common law fraud cases involving banking and complex structured finance transactions.
Mr. Kass was part of the litigation team responsible for the Firm's successful representation of Deutsche Bank in the class action suit against Enron and its former banking partners, resulting in a complete dismissal of all claims. Additionally, Mr. Kass has taken part in several internal investigations, including counseling the Republic of Iraq in matters related to the United Nations Oil-for-Food Program. Mr. Kass also has significant experience in the field of antitrust law. Most notably, Mr. Kass was part of a team which represented a large generic pharmaceutical company in an antitrust fraud matter involving cutting edge issues surrounding privilege and the work product doctrine.
