Jonathan is a local partner in White & Case's Moscow office and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

Prior to relocating to Moscow in 2011, Jonathan was based in the firm's London office.

Jonathan's recent experience includes:

• Advising the shareholders of VSK, the Russian insurance company, in connection with the proposed acquisition of a stake in VSK by Reso-Garantia;
• Advising the shareholders of investment banking firm Troika Dialog in connection with its sale to Sberbank;
• Advising Unimilk, one of Russia's largest dairy companies with operations in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, and sales in Kazakhstan, on a joint venture with the French foods giant Danone – named "M&A Deal of the Year" at IFLR's European Awards in March 2011;
• Advising Adecco SA on its public takeover of Spring Group PLC by way of recommended scheme of arrangement for a cash consideration of £108 million;
• Advising J.P. Morgan Cazenove, UBS Investment Bank and Merrill Lynch International as joint sponsors and joint bookrunners on the £250 million equity placing and open offer by SEGRO plc in connection with its all share acquisition of Brixton plc;
• Advising the steering committee of lenders on the corporate aspects of the restructuring of the LINPAC Group undertaken by way of scheme of arrangement, CVA and a share acquisition; and
• Advising Ali SPA, an Italian commercial foodservice equipment maker, on its £260 million acquisition of Aga Foodservice Group's commercial foodservice equipment and bakery equipment business.
