Practice Experience

An English-qualified partner, Josh joined White & Case in August 2002. Josh has previously worked at Clifford Chance and Orrick. Josh specialises in structured finance and has significant experience in funded CDOs. Josh has acted on a number of funded CDOs and structured credit programmes for institutions including Citigroup, JPMorgan and Nomura. Josh advised on SVG Diamond Private Equity PLC which was named in 2004 as ISR’s CDO Deal of the Year – Europe.

Josh also has substantial capital markets and restructuring experience.

Josh joined the Firm in 2002.

Examples of recent transactions include:

SVG Diamond Private Equity PLC, A collateralised fund obligation ultimately backed by interests in private equity. This transaction was awarded CDO Deal of the Year - Europe, ISR 2004
PiraeusCDO 1 Limited. A managed portfolio synthetic credit linked note transaction;
Hemisphere CDO PLC. A managed portfolio (of emerging market sovereign and corporate reference entities) synthetic credit linked note transaction; and
ABACUS 2004-3, Inc., Acting for the investor of credit linked notes.
