Practice Experience
Mr. Jacek Polewski concentrates in commercial and competition law. He also has legal experience in advising on European Union law, in particular in the areas of competition law and cross-border mergers.
Mr. Polewski has been involved in acquisitions in the pharmaceutical, health, IT, chemicals, construction and banking sectors. He recently advised a major US chemicals company in the acquisition of a Polish chemicals plant.
He has also represented clients in the proceedings for merger approval before the Polish National Competition Authority. Recently, he assisted a major pharmaceutical company in applying for an approval for the acquisition of a major Polish cosmetics producer.
Mr. Polewski is in his second year of his traineeship for the Polish bar (aplikant adwokacki).
Prior to joining White & Case, he was an intern in a Polish law firm in Poznań and a well-known international law firm in Warsaw.
Mr. Polewski graduated from the School of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also studied at the University of Rennes in France as a Socrates-Erasmus scholar.
He communicates in Polish (native), English (fluent) and French (fluent).
