Practice Experience
Justin S. Miller is an International Trade Analyst with experience in US-EU and US-Central America trade. Working with the US Department of Commerce in Spain, he monitored and reported on commercial opportunities for US firms in the Spanish banking, IT and telecommunications sectors. Later, as a Business Development Consultant in Guatemala, he advised the Eastern Confederation of Lemon Cooperatives regarding implications for them of the then-nascent CAFTA. He then worked briefly with 24/7 Customer, an Indian Business Process Outsourcer in Guatemala, to offshore a US Fortune 500 client's customer contact operation to Central America. Until recently, he was working as a Downstream Analyst with PFC Energy in Washington, DC modeling global crude petroleum flows based on current and future production, refining capacity and retail demand. He has also worked as a consultant with the US Department of State and the Uruguayan Ministry of Energy and Mines to develop a national biofuels strategy for Uruguay.

Justin has a BA in Global Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an MA in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC where he earned specializations in International Finance, Emerging Markets and Energy Policy. He is bilingual in English-Spanish and is proficient in Portuguese.
