Practice Experience
Katarzyna Kahl is an associate at White & Case since 2007. Ms. Kahl is involved in cases concerning various regulatory and labor law matters. In her practice she focuses on the energy regulation.
In particular she deals with renewable energy matters (such as legal aspects of connections to the grid of the renewable energy sources, mechanisms supporting the deployment of renewable energy). She participated in numerous projects comprising development and financing of wind power plants in Poland. She has an extensive experience in energy contracts as PPA (incl. EFET), TSA, interconnection agreements, and others. Her experience also includes assistance on and preparation of necessary documentation for transactions and negotiations connected with mergers and acquisitions of companies, including energy producers.
She graduated with honors from the Warsaw University School of Law. Ms. Kahl also completed with honors the School of German and European Law organized by Warsaw University in close cooperation with the Faculty of Law at the Friedrich-Wilhelm Rhein University of Bonn.
She speaks fluent English and German.
