Practice Experience
Kevin Ng is a partner in the Banking & Capital Markets Group in London, specialising in corporate trustee work.

Kevin has a wide range of experience in equity and debt capital markets and has advised on the international issue of eurobonds, high yield bonds, shares and on the issue by a bank of subordinated Lower Tier 2 capital. Kevin has also worked on sale and lease-back and sale and manage-back transactions, as well as private mergers and acquisitions.

More recently, Kevin has focused on corporate trustee representation and has advised The Bank of New York as trustee and security agent on a significant number of high yield bond and other securities issues.

Kevin joined the Firm in September 2006 from the London office of a leading international law firm.

Examples of recent representations include:
  • Represented The Bank of New York as trustee on over two dozen high yield bond issues;
  • Represented Terra Firma and Deutsche Annington Immobilien GmbH (DAIG) on a €5.416 billion multifamily commercial mortgage-backed securitisation of part of DAIG's residential housing portfolio;
  • Represented Slough Estates plc on its issue of £250,000,000 5.625% Notes due 2020 and £100,000,000 5.75% Notes due 2035;
  • Represented HSBC Bank plc, Royal Bank of Canada Europe Limited and Sutherlands Limited on the issue by F&C Commercial Property Trust Limited of £230,000,000 5.23% secured Bonds due 2017;
  • Represented Nomura International plc, as senior and mezzanine debt arranger on the acquisition by London & Regional Property Limited of a portfolio of 280 pubs from the Laurel Pub group;
  • Represented NATS (En Route) PLC on its issue of £600,000,000 5.25 % guaranteed secured amortising Bonds due 2026; and
  • Acting for The Bank of New York as senior bond trustee in connection with a €800 million high yield note issue to refinance Grohe Group's existing €900 million term and revolving credit facility agreement. (The Firm also acted for Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse in connection with a €150 million facility used to refinance Grohe Group's senior facilities.)
