Ms. Leali joined White & Case in 2000 and is a senior associate in the Firm's Global Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. She regularly represents debtors, unsecured creditors committees, strategic and financial investors in a wide variety of industries and market sectors, and has experience in mergers and acquisitions—having represented a number of sellers both in and out of court in transactions involving a wide range of industries.

Ms. Leali's recent representations include WCI Communities, Inc., a leading developer of new homes and towers with approximately US$2 billion in debt, in its chapter 11 cases and Recticel SA/NV, a global manufacturer of a wide range of foams and synthetic compounds, as debtor-in-possession financing lender to its wholly owned chapter 11 debtor subsidiaries.

Ms. Leali was also the lead restructuring associate in the Firm's representation of Appaloosa Management L.P., one of the largest shareholders of Delphi Corporation, in its successful bid to obtain relief directing the formation of an official equity committee in the case. Further, she was a key member of the counsel team in the successful chapter 11 reorganization of Mirant Corporation— involving more than US$10 billion in debt and considered the largest bankruptcy filing in the US in 2003 and at the time the tenth largest bankruptcy filing in US history. Ms. Leali also represented Lund International, Inc, a manufacturer of aftermarket auto parts, in its out-of-court sale of its assets.

White & Case's Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Group is internationally recognized as a preeminent leader in the field. White & Case was ranked first in The Deal's year-end bankruptcy league tables for the past three years. Ms. Leali was part of the Americas team that received the "Restructuring Team of the Year" award from International Financial Law Review in 2006.
